Patch Adams

Patch Adams Movie is the true history of Hunter "Patch" Adams (Robin Williams), a medical student who wanted to help his patients improve their state of life. He was inspired to become a doctor after his stay in psychiatry. He thougth that the only way to be happy is to make others happy.

The movie takes place during the stay of Patch at the medical school. He had a lot of problems here because his ideas were differents than those of their teachers. In the University all doctors think they should treat the disease and not to patients, but Patch them to laugh patients to feel better in the hospital.

He was an excellent student and his classmates were jealous of him. He was in love with Hell, a girl of his class, but She didn´t love him. She thought that if she wanted to be a doctor She had to study very hard, for her the school is just for study but Patch showed her that life is more than only books and she was happy.

Patch had a big dream, he wanted to make a hospital. His dream come true when he bougth a old farm in the country. He and his friends worked after their classes.

On the university, he was criticized by others argued by he was extreme happy in all the thing that he do, because they thought that with their technique was not the best and not the appropriated to heal to their patien.

All the directors and the principal of the university were disagree with the idea that Patch can graduate with that methods that he use to try to heal people.

Finally when the time passed Patch could show to all his teachers and principals that their method, the method of heals people with funny things and making people laugh was so effective.

At the end of the period the university decided that Patch can graduate, using their methods of heal people.

I like this movie because it shows us that we can help other people and this is our mision in the world. Just a smile can change a life. We are not individuals beigns, we have think of the others.
