This movie was producer by Stanley Kubrick, and the argument was based by the novel of Arthur C. Clarke.
This movie is about the discovery of a monolith, that is a portal for travel very fast to another point of universe.
The starship used for this travel is controlled by a mega-computer called HAL9000.
This computer was turn crazy and killed the crew of the startship. Only one person survived the capitan David Bowman.

I never dont look this movie, becasuse I dont like this kind of movies but when I read the argument i like it...
Im sorry but I dont think that this movie was considered the best movie for all the times, I think Stanley Kubrick was a great directed of movies, though.
